I am a jazz singer/guitar player and have been performing out regularly since 1999 at concert series, coffee houses and festivals throughout the Midwest. I recently began focusing my interest in performing at area senior centers and nursing homes. This is a truly enjoyable experience for me; I really enjoys sharing the music I love and providing some fun and entertainment to elders. I focus the show on memorable swing tunes and ballads from the 1930’s and 40’s but also throws in some classics from other styles to keep the show lively. Here is just a sample of songs your residents could hear at one of my shows: Ain’t Misbehavin’, All of Me, Am I Blue?, Blue Moon, Bye Bye Black Bird, Daisy Bell, Dinah, Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, Five Foot Two Eyes of Blue, Fly Me to the Moon, It’s Only a Paper Moon, My Funny Valentine, On the Sunny Side of the Street, Sentimental Journey, Stormy Weather, What a Wonderful World, When You’re Smiling, and Yes Sir That’s My Baby. I also include several sing-alongs such as "Let me Call You Sweetheart", "You are My Sunshine" and "I’m Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover" with lyric sheets upon request. My prices for 2005 are as follows: 1 hour show for $70.
